PANDA WATCH! Day 2

The mood is tense here, we tried to get an interview, but they said "No! He's a giant panda, and he will literally eat your face off!":

Well anyways, Day 2 kicked ass. We pretty much kicked back on the beach all day. Rather Surprisingly, neither Dina nor I got a sunburn, due to the SPF 5000 we were wearing, but we did manage a little color.

As you can see below "getting some color" is the only thing that could happen to our skin:

The water is super clear, and probably high 70's to low 80's, so it's no problem jumping right in. Of course, I'm basing that "clear" observation on a comparison with Jersey Shore water, which sadly, aint that blue or clear. Some local girl at Burberry's was saying that "This beach isn't all that great compared to *this beach and that beach on this and that side of the island*"... you gotta love when locals put you down, but I understand that, I've put many a NYC tourist down myself. She did say that Kauai(sp?) is gorgeous, and that's where we're going later this week, so that's good.

As luck would have it, it's the 60th anniversary of the USAF, and they celebrated by having the Thunderbirds give an airshow over the beach. So we enjoyed watching some F-16's (maybe 18's?) doing loops, spins, formations, dives, and close fly by's. I thought it was a nice little added bonus to the day. I wish I'd gotten some good pics of it, butit was impossible to get a picture, they were too damn fast. Most of my attempts resulted in blurry pictures of clouds.

I did get one picture though, see if you can find waldo in this picture, first person to find it wins a beer:

So we enjoyed the airshow while having lunch at our hotels beach bar, and drinking some excellent bloody mary's. After that we walked around to some shops for a while, napped, then went out to dinner. We had an excellent meal on the beach lit by tiki torches. I appearantly have some pretty scary looking hands if the perspective in this photo is at all accurate, has anyone ever noticed?(the eyes are bloodshot from salt water, don't get any ideas):
